When Aspen was first born I think she was pretty much filmed or photographed all day, we made so many home movies of her just ‘looking cute’, I mean that’s all she could pretty much do, she would lay on her little blanket in one of her many (way too many) outfits whilst I fussed over her and told her how cute she was. I couldn’t resist taking photos and films of her, she was our little miracle, the baby we feared we’d never have.
Most of those videos are now still on tape and we have nothing to play them on. We really must convert them. Our little girl is 11 and still adorable, she now has her own iPad and loves making movies, check out her one of our dog Holly HERE.
This weekend we headed away for some family time and I decided to give this iPad movie making a go. You can see the trailer to the movie HERE. It was loads of fun making it and actually quite easy. So for this weeks #mummyandus link up I am sharing our family movie with you, it goes for about 5 minutes, so grab yourself some pop corn or just a nice cup of tea/coffee and let me know what you think.
I hope you enjoyed our little movie. Have something you would like to share? Link up below with my #mummyandus linky.
Thanks for watching, love Mackenzie xx

Thanks to Anglesea BIG4 for giving us this wonderful weekend away!

Anglesea is on the great Ocean Road and is where the Bush meets the Sea. There is so much to do, not only at BIG4 Holiday Park, but in the surrounding area. There are beautiful walks, yummy local produce and wines to try, Galleries and shops to explore and the Anglesea Golf Course. It is close to Torquay for amazing surf shops, Bells Beach just down the road for world class surfing and Lorne and the 12 Apostles just a drive away. I highly recommend staying at BIG4 for not only there amazing facilities, but for the wonderful staff we met too, it really does make a difference having that personal boutique feel.
Too see more of what we got up to on our weekend away and check out our photographs check out the links below.

What a fantastic video! Your little ones are absolutely precious, and it looks like they had a spectacular time on all of their little mini adventures! The beach looks beautiful- we haven’t been to the ocean in years and I’m DYING to get there soon!
You’ve inspired me to try to make a movie in my iPad now. I’m definitely going to try it. Thanks so much for hosting #mummyandus, Mac!
Thanks Katie, you should make one it’s so much easier than I thought and a great way to keep memories.
You have a lovely family and it looks like a great holiday. We don’t make enough home movies and I lost all the ones of my girls when our old hard drive broke. Must make some!

it was so much fun, thanks for stopping by xx
What a great idea – we have so many home video clips of our first, rattling around on hard drives and ipads. Might not be such a bad thing to have them on tape, at least they’re physical objects! Poor baby #2, no idea if we’ve even got the video cam out since she was born! So different second time around eh? Thanks for linking up to #coolmumclub x MMT
I know it gets less and less with every child doesn’t it oops
