My gorgeous little man Adam thinks he runs the world, I mean move over Beyonce’ according to the world of ‘Adam’ girls don’t run the world, he does, well at least he is pretty sure he runs my world! Now I must admit he does have me wrapped around his little finger, but how could I not be when he is this cute!
I mean how does a mother resist when your child looks at you with eyes like this?
I’ll tell you how! When he tells me “Mummy you are not allowed to sing”! I love singing, love it, it is one of my favourite things to do, and I don’t just restrict myself to the shower. I sing anywhere and everywhere I can. Like most people I am always singing in the car, and when the school trip takes 40 minutes from home to the school gate I am going to sing! Not just sing, but sing my heart out. Adam tells me everyday “mummy stop singing”! My response is always the same “no, mummy is allowed to sing”! At home I sing around the house and I hear “mummy stop singing”, my response, “no I will not stop singing because it makes mummy happy”. Now I guess when he is a teenager and has friends over I may stop singing so I don’t embarrass him, but then again maybe I won’t? I think it is important that he learns young that he can’t boss his mummy around and that women are in fact the ones who run the world, and with two older sisters I think he’ll learn this lesson pretty fast! (Poor boy)!
So I dedicate todays quote to Adam (he loves minions) and anyone else who thinks we shouldn’t be allowed to sing whenever and wherever we want!
What do you think about that Adam?
Thanks for joining me, love Mackenzie xx

Hahaha, too cute! Bless him, he’s outnumbered. I too love singing in the car, diva-style. The best time is coming back from the school drop off when I have the car to myself: crank up the volume and bust some moves (only when safe to do so!). Stopping by from #candidcuddles
After school drop off is the best I agree
Ha ha! Good for you. I can’t sing either. Infact I’m really really awful. But sometimes you just got to have a little dance round the kitchen and sing your heart out. My 18 yr old is always telling me to stop. Says it hurts her ears. But I just tell her if she doesn’t like it she is always welcome to go somewhere else. I guess Adam is a little young for that 😉

Yes he is a bit young for that yet lol, us mums have gotta have fun!
BRILLIANT – I love it and as you say who could possible resist those eyes. Gorgeous pics.

Thanks Sammy, yes he is hard to resist
Priceless! But embarrassing them totally is part of the job of any parent 😉
It is isn’t it lol
Haha!! I am with you on all accounts. Who could resist that beautiful boy? I get through the school run by singing too and I can’t really hold a note but, it is my stress buster! It keeps me sane! No one is going to stop us Mac ha! A brilliant post xxxx
What’s life without a bit of out of tune singing! Thanks Lisa x
My teenager just looks at me and shakes his head when he catches me singing or jigging along to music. Apparently, it is SO embarrassing! (So, of course, I keep doing it….). #bestandworst
Yey! Good for you! I’m absolutely with you on it, and my daughter (3) yells “Stop Mummy!” I go all theatrical in the car though and have to try and remember to stop doing it at traffic lights. It does attract a rather bemused audience sometimes. Oops.

Nice to entertain people lol
Aww he is a little stunner! I wouldn’t be able to resist either! To be fair my daughter tells me to stop singing too! Must be a kid thing, that or we have bad voices!! Thanks for sharing with #bestandworst hun and see you soon xx
Of course we have great voices, they just don’t know a good thing when they hear it lol
Oh I agree – I am always singing at the top of my voice (often Frozen songs or similar) and my little boy always moans because he’d rather I sing the Cars soundtrack! Beautiful pictures of Adam by the way 🙂 #candidcuddles
mine doesn’t like my singing, but I think its just because it makes it hard to hear herself
HA! This is so cute! I am a terrible singer but do it anyway – I will have to share your minion quote, it’s just perfect! Adam is a cutie & is probably right that kids rule our world! Thanks so much for sharing with #candidcuddles it’s lovely to have you link up every week!! x
