Peace For Paris

Where do we look to have things make sense?

Who do we ask? Who can we look to?

When a senseless act is done, we search for an answer.

Why? We ask, why?

But how can we ever make sense of a senseless act?

How can we ever find peace in death, in evil, in murder?

We can not, we can not make sense of this horror.

It can not be justified.

It is senseless and cruel.

Paris is crying,

it’s heart and soul ache.

Europe is crying.

The world is in disbelief.

You are not alone,

the world cries with you.

From the other side of the world we are loving you,

we are holding you next to our hearts,

we are reaching out our hands.

We are saying, we are here for you,

you will never be alone.

Cruelty will not break your spirit,

it will not darken your eternal glow.

You will still be our beautiful Paris,

the home of love and light.

You will unite, you will not be broken.

From the other side of the world we wish you healing,

we wish you love,

we wish you peace.
