Have you ever had to come up with a list of things you love? It is pretty easy to name a few off the top of your head right? But this week, my lovely Friday Reflections co-host Janine decided to set a challenge as one of the prompts to name 99 things I love! Yes you read that right 99! So I have decided to give it a go, and see how hard or easy this is going to be. Why don’t you give it a try too?
Here goes . . .
- My children (I could cheat and name them individually)
- my husband
- my family (this includes all family)
- my pets (they really have added so much chaos and joy to our lives)

It is actually quite amazing, there were moments where I got stuck, I just couldn’t think of the next thing, and yet now it has come to an end I can already think of more! I am glad that I took this challenge. It really shows us how blessed we are, and it showed me how many things I really do love in my life. If I had have listed people the list would be double this length, and I could add so many places that I have visited.
So what about you? Did you take the challenge, would you? If you do please let me know how you found it.
Thanks for joining me, love Mackenzie xx

Oh Mackenzie you have inspired me to accept the challenge. I love helicopter rides and luxury hotels!!! Thanks for the opportunity to link up #fridayreflections
Glad I’ve inspired you xx
What a sweet, sweet list, Mackenzie! I am taking Friday Reflections to my other blog today. I am doing the 99 things prompt too! We share quite a few loves – and it is so heart warming to know that we can actually keep going once we cross a certain mark! Hugs and love. Writing this list was great fun.
I am deeply honored to be chosen again as the Featured Writer on Friday Reflections. 🙂 You’ve no idea how much I love this bloghop!
The best part is reading different takes on the same prompt – and I love it!
we love you being part of it
well done! we have so much to be grateful for in our lives and your 99 things just proved the point!
it sure does
Loved your list. Such a simple yet complete one and there are things we share as well. I took up the same prompt and it was so much fun 🙂
great, can’t wait to read your list!
Loved your little comments alongside your list. 🙂
It’s amazing how reading someone’s list really gives you insight into who they are. I love it and am bummed I didn’t do it… maybe I’ll post a list on the Facebook Page this weekend.

I thought it would be much harder than it ended up being, thanks for your comments Tara
You finished your novel? That’s monumental! Congrats!
Thanks so much Marie, it is fantastic to have finally finished and have it out of my head (so to speak), now the epic job of editing!
What a lovely list, am tempted to try.. thanks for sharing 🙂
What a wonderful prompt! Enjoyed reading your list and I had a great time writing mine too! 🙂
so happy you enjoyed it
So many things that I love as well..
Just penning them down and will link them soon..!!!
Cheers
sounds wonderful, can’t wait to read
Wonderful list! I like how you did it almost like a free-write piece. It’s only after you do it you realise there are so many more things you can add.
I need to do this! It sounds easy but I bet it’s so hard when you get down to it. #sundaystars
so much easier than I thought it would be!
I loved this prompt and reading everyone’s lists 🙂 I must admit I cheated and wrote mine over a series of days though!
I love this list! I was also thinking of doing this love list, but I’ve already done a 50 things that make me happy list a few months ago and it would be boring if a lot of items overlap. I like many of the food-related items on your list too, like roast dinner (I’ve never tried mint sauce though), home-made cookies and the smell of freshly-baked bread.
Yay – what a lovely 99 they are too!
So hard to come up with this list right? I too got stick at several places…Loved the prompts and it’s so much fun too thinking of things I love! Thank You
