So here I find myself tonight reflecting upon how half of this week is already over… If I was to measure my week by ticking things off my to do list, well let’s just say I may be falling slightly behind.
If I am measuring by gratitude then I am totally winning this week! My 3 children (who are a total blessing first and foremost) are on school holidays and I love when they are home. So far this week we have had lots of fun and laughs, and it is so nice to not have to be rushing to do the school run, and live via a schedule. Instead we have been able to make spur of the moment decisions that have turned out to bring us great joy.
Many of you in the blogging community will know of the lovely Emma from Island Living (islandliving365.com), and how she is about to head into surgery for Bowel Cancer. Emma is amazing, she is strong, funny and fabulous! If you don’t follow her blog, you should at least follow her on Instagram as she is a true inspiration to anyone, not only for the way she is handling her treatment for Bowel Cancer, but for the reason that she is just an amazing inspiration.
Following her journey makes me even more appreciative of these precious moments I am getting to spend with my children, moments where I can be fully immersed in their laughter. I feel so blessed.
Yes, my life isn’t picture perfect, but is anyones? Really? But, tonight I got to tuck my 3 littles into bed and tell them I love them, and my Cavalier is curled up on my bed snoring, if they are not things to be grateful for then I don’t know what is!
If you get a moment tonight to sit and reflect then I hope you can think of some things that you feel grateful for, and I’d love you to share some with me.
Please spare a moment to send some positive vibes to Emma and her family and to anyone else who is going through hardship right now.
Thanks for reading, love, Kylie xx

Even in the darkest times, there is always something to be grateful for, just we have to search for it a little harder

I have so much admiration for Emma her strength and determination is inspiring. I love the way you’ve looked at your holiday week and pushed aside the worries of not ticking off a list. #ablogginggoodtime
