I may not be so interesting, the funniest girl around,
or even so very wise.
I may not be the most beautiful, or the sexiest girl alive,
but when you want the truth just look into my eyes,
for what I am is honest, and who I am is true,
I can not pretend to be anything else,
not even for you.
I don’t have a flawless past, yes mistakes I made a few,
I am not proud of everything I’ve done,
but what is that to you?
From these mistakes I have learned,
I have grown, learnt who not to trust
but the past matters little now,
I will not make a fuss,
it is not important who I was,
what matters is right here, right now,
the woman I am today.
So I will stand tall,
I will stand strong
and I will say the hardest words to say
I Love Me
Mackenzie Glanville
Yesterday I shared a tribute post on miscarriage and stillbirth. I would love for you to take a read and please share with any one you feel may find comfort in this post. Thank you xx
The beautiful babies in our hearts
Also last week I shared a story of an amazing woman who was told she had 15 months to live due to a rare form of cancer that she developed from asbestos from her dad’s work jacket that she played in as a child. She had just given birth to a beautiful daughter and she feared she would not be around to raise her. This woman is a warrior, I would love for you to read her story.
On a brighter note I also wrote a post about pretty stationary as I love stationary. And shared 12 tips for travelling with children.
Hope you all have a happy week, and remember to drop me a comment as comments always make my day xx

I think that we are made beautiful, or moreso, by our journey. The broken parts become cracks for the light to shine through and be a beacon to others. Bless you on your path, may you find comfort and love, in others as well as yourself. xxx
I totally agree with your line. The past matters little now. I like to think I havent allowed negative events in my past to make me bitter. Rather that despite challenges my positivity has continued to shine through. For me strength of character makes you beautiful. Thanks for linking up to #CandidCuddles (cohosting this week).
Strength of character does make you beautiful I totally agree
A beautiful post Mac, your past does not define you. It isn’t about the mistakes you make, it is how you deal with them that matters xxx
How beautiful! I loved that poem, Mackenzie. What you are matters, not what you were.
Beautiful words Mackenzie! I love your poem & your quote. It’s a beautiful message that we all should take on board. Thanks so much for sharing it with candid cuddles x
Thank you honey xx
