Have you ever just gone into a store and found a few bargains you simply can’t pass up, only to wind up at the register with a bill a little larger than you anticipated (or a lot larger oops)?
I mean seriously a bargain top here, a bargain dress there, and an ‘oh my gosh’ running through your brain as you swipe the credit card!! How did that happen?
Today I was feeling a little low and a quick dash to the shops later, my pick me up was complete! But now the guilt set it, did I really need that stuff? Um, um, um, well let’s just say yes, I mean it will come in handy, and it’s all practical everyday stuff, and it was all on sale, well okay, almost all on sale. Funny how we justify these things, but no point beating myself up!
Aspen, still complaining of sore foot too, have booked doctor for tomorrow after school, see I’m not just a compulsive shopper, I’m a good mum. Well someone has to tell me so, might as well be me. Wish me luck with telling hubby before he see’s the bank statement, I might tell him whilst wearing the cute little black dress (it is practical I promise) that I brought, then he’ll have to be happy.
Thanks for joining me, love Mackenzie xx

Girls always say only the amount they saved.
What an awesome read. I know I have been guilty of this saying too xx
Thanks for the support!
This sounds so familliar, only difference is my partner will purchase something and unless I throw away the receipt she will take it back, I am always encouraging her to treat herself now and again. She thinks that by spending money on herself she is taking food out of our son’s mouth, so I almost end up forcing her to buy something she likes just so I know she has treated herself
everyone deserves a treat now and then, she sounds like an awesome mum!
