Having a stressful day, week, month? It happens, we all go through some really tough times, physically, emotionally even mentally. Some times we just feel like everything is too much! These are the times that we need to look after ourselves the most, these are the times we need to take a moment and reflect on what we can do to make life better for ourselves.
Take back your power, don’t just sit back and take the crap being dished out, decide to make your life what you want it to be. Take back control for the way you think, act and give yourself permission to find happiness. Don’t let stress take over your life.
Grab a pen and paper and write down what is stressing you out, then concentrate on one thing at a time so you don’t become overwhelmed. Work your way as slowly as you need to in order to make real positive change. Allow yourself time to heal, grieve, and accept that it is time for change. You deserve happiness, we all do. We have all made bad choices, made mistakes and we can choose to dwell on those or we can choose to empower ourselves and accept we are not perfect. It is OK that you have fallen down, it is OK that you have regrets, but it is time to move forward into a new and positive future.
Thanks for doing me, love Mackenzie xx

I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve let stress get the best of me. Sometimes I still do. It’s something I’m continuously working on, and I’m definitely getting better at handing it. I love your advice to write things down. I need to do that more often. Normally, my go-to stress relief is to talk things out with someone I love. All too often, I get stuck in my own head and can’t hear my own thoughts! Better to say them out loud so I can hear my rationalizations. Wonderful and inspiring quote, Mackenzie! Thank you for linking up with #candidcuddles!
The thing is, it’s so easy to let the stress overwhelm you, then it’s hard to see a way out, a way to make it better. You’re completely right here, we need to grab our power back, take it one step at a time and we’ll get there! x #candidcuddles
I need to take this into consideration! Stress kicks my butt a lot but it needs to be the other way around! Very ironic too as I don’t produce Cortisol the stress hormone so if i feel stressed my body collapses lol!

Great quote! I have a stress induced disease and so stress is my kryptonite. When I don’t manage it well I can’t get out of bed. It’s so important to learn how to handle stress before getting sick. Great tips above. Thanks.
That’s a really great way to look at stress – to take control of your life & what’s going on. Stress can easily get the better of you & worry too! Thanks so much for linking up with #candidcuddles x
