I have often blogged about gratitude, I have recommended and challenged my readers to write gratitude lists, lists about things they are grateful for that others have done and encouraged them to write lists that show gratitude towards their own gifts and talents. Gratitude is clearly something I advocate, I have even been guilty of giving my friends gratitude journals as gifts. Gratitude is about living in the present moment and being happy to be there.
Being grateful is about honouring and thanking the universe for this life you are living. It is about noticing the people that make your life richer and about opening your own eyes to the precious gifts that you bring to the world. It might all sound very hippy or arty, but the people who are most happy are the ones that live with gratitude in their hearts. It is a way of life, it is a practice that you should be doing everyday. It doesn’t have to be something you write down, if you are not into making lists or keeping a gratitude journal then that is OK, what is important is to be conscious of the gratitude in your heart and acknowledge it even if it’s in silence.
Gratitude is about attracting positive things to your life, because by being grateful you are saying that you are happy in your life. You are telling the universe that you are thankful for all the wonderful things in your world and therefore the world keeps sending you more wonderful things. Gratitude attracts an abundance of wonderful things and opportunities into your life. It is like a magnet for attracting success.
Gratitude is a choice, it is making choice on how to view the world, and the more positivity you see the more you attract.
If you are always complaining and continually being ungrateful you will continue to attract negativity into your world. The great thing is that this can be turned around at any point, you can start living a more abundant, happy and grateful life today. It is a choice and it is yours to make.
Gratitude is about wisdom, it is wise to notice the good in your life, it is wise to choose happiness and it is wise to recognise the blessings in your life.
Thank you for joining me, love Mackenzie xx

I firmly believe in the power of gratitude. I’ve seen it change the way I cope with life, and also how it unfurls the beauty we never even notice. Thank you.
it really does, thank you for your thoughts Jennifer xx
I couldn’t agree more Mac, it often helps me to get through the rougher days by actively seeking the good and being grateful.
I will link my quote up when the link is ready. Have a lovely day xx

So very true 🙂 Life is better when you focus on what you’ve got rather than what you haven’t
